What secrets does amber hold? Join Carter County Museum’s Curator of Paleontology Dr. Nathan Carroll, as he takes you through the swamps and lagoons of the late Cretaceous Period investigating the mysteries of feather evolution. This presentation weaves together the origins of dinosaur flight, exceptional fossil preservation in amber, and how Montana’s geologic record has more feathers in it than previously thought. Free and open to the public in the Hager Auditorium. Refreshments will be provided post-lecture during the speaker meet-and-greet. Registration is suggested via this link. https://sales.museumoftherockies.org/performance.aspx
