Duckbill Dinosaur DUCK RACE 2021

The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum (GPDM) announces that up to 500+ rubber duckies will race to the finish line the morning of Saturday, August 14th.
The traditional “duck boards,” offering numbered ducks for adoption for the fee of $5 are available at most taverns and other businesses in Malta. DinoDucks can also be purchased online at https://gpdm.eventgroovefundraising.com/gpdm
The dinosaur twist to the race is in honor of the Hadrosaur or “Duckbill Dinosaur”, Montana’s state fossil and locally discovered dinosaurs such as Leonardo, Roberta, Peanut and Elvis. Total prize money awarded for the regular DinoDuck Race event is $500, plus a $100 incentive to the local salesman selling the winning duck!
All proceeds of this fundraiser benefit the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum and help with operational and new exhibit expenses. The museum is open daily Monday through Saturday 10AM to 5PM and Sunday 12:30 to 5PM and reports record visitation so far in 2021. Youth dig and lab programs run weekdays with advance reservations. Details of this and the adult dig program offerings can be found on GPDM website at www.greatplainsdinosaurs.org or by contacting the museum at 406.654.5300.
