Like many of the dinosaurs found in Montana, the Struthiomimus lived about 75 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. This dinosaur was capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. With long legs and ostrich-like features, this species was aptly named ‘struthion’ meaning ostrich and ‘mimus’ meaning mimic.
