Join us on Saturday, July 12th in Malta, MT for a full day of prehistoric fun as we celebrate two decades of dino-sized discoveries on the Montana Dinosaur Trail!
ROAR AND EXPLORE DAY kicks off at 10:30 AM with the Rockin’ Elvis Dino Hunt—a perfect adventure for our tiniest explorers!
From 11:00–1:00, the Prehistoric Playland Carnival brings games, face painting, snacks, and fossil-themed fun for the whole family.
Geocaching Adventure: Track down hidden dino caches throughout Malta for a chance to win prizes!
Dino Movie at the Villa Theatre from 2:00–4:00 PM – enjoy Jurassic World: Rebirth on the big screen!
Dino Bites & Sweet Delights at the museums! The Kiwanis crew will be grilling up hot dogs midday, and a food truck will be on site during the evening hours. Don’t forget to check out the pie social, too!
Dinosaur Talks from 5:00–6:00 PM with world-renowned paleontologist Dr. Jack Horner!
6:00–7:00 PM – Award Ceremony celebrating the winners of our Geocache Challenge and JurRUSTic Scrap Metal Sculpture Contest!
All events take place at or around the Phillips County Museum & Great Plains Dinosaur Museum—right off US Highway 2 East!
Don’t miss this dino-mite celebration of 2 million years in the making and 20 years on the trail!
