National Fossil Day, Makoshika State Park

Join us for our annual National Fossil Day Celebration! Be a paleontologist for a day and learn how fossils are made, the different type of fossils, what fossils can be found in Makoshika! There will be several other fossil- and dinosaur-themed activities for all ages. This is a drop-in event so feel free to arrive any time between 1-3 pm at the Visitor Center.
